This webinar is presented by the Emerging Diseases Committee to offer members a timely update into the ongoing Enterococcus cecorum industry challenge. Dr. M. Mitsu Suyemoto joins the committee on May 12th to discuss the pathogenesis of E. cecorum. Mitsu Suyemoto has researched Bacterial Pathogenesis and Molecular Genetics at NCSU for the past 17 years as a Research Specialist, with much of this time devoted to Enterococcus cecorum in the Borst laboratory. She joins the Emerging Diseases Committee to speak on the subject of what we know of, and future research needs into, the pathogenesis of Enterococcus cecorum. Q&A to follow.
